Think you might be missing the point. I’m sure if it was a normal pan she would treat it normally. This is clear misuse of something because of WHO the pan is.

Cadence is an idiot here. Non-stick coatings are too soft compared to steel and are damaged/destroyed by it - which is why only plastic and wooden utensils are to be used on non-stick pans.
