@Background Pony #5F5D
Aye, I think for what you get - a life-sized, anthro, extremely huggable, fuckable, if that’s what takes your fancy plush doll, it’s an amazing bargain.
Just a thing about quality, because I’ve heard people criticise BSP’s work but give Tavi high praise (not suggesting you’ve done this, this is just some advice of my own): not that I’m speaking ill of BSP’s work, ‘cause I think a lot of their stuff is amazing, but depending on what a person is going for, it’s in their best interests to be as absolutely explicit as possible. I trawled through BSP’s previous pony works and collated shots of the features I liked best (head shapes, gusset designs, hips and thighs, curves, etc.) and annotated them into diagrams showing how I wanted those features adjusted or otherwise incorporated into mine. Surprise surprise, Tavi ended up being pretty much exactly what I wanted.
Again though, this isn’t something about BSP - I find with any artist, the more exhaustive you can be in not just describing, but showing what you want, the more likely that artist will be able to make your dream reality.
Well, my pics managed to convince someone to commission a Tavi like mine, and they got quoted $690 - so at current prices, you’ll generally be ballparking $600 - $700 for a 5ft anthro pony, give or take based on the complexity of the design and how many “features” you include (e.g., Tavi has the the works - so if you omitted some or all of the features, it might end up dropping the price by $100 or more, who knows).
