Considering the EQG universe is technically a teenage setting, whereas in the main universe they can be likened to adults because they have jobs and life experience, and the fact that Granny Smith is a cafeteria lady in EQG-verse, she can’t be as old as main-verse Granny Smith. Therefore, there’s a slight chance that PBB and Bright Mac are still alive. But then again, they could also not be, as Apple Bloom was a young foal when they left, and in EQG AB is just a year or two (maybe three) under the teens (as is the other members of her “level”). Still, one can hope.
