you do know that this episode is retelling an old story, most likely based on truths and in the “flashback” all the characters are replaced with modern times characters for the sake of..story or whatever?
which means that long time ago there was real chimney sweeper pones but the one we saw was a modern day pone filling in a fake role?
My headcannon, all the ponies in the episode, actually live in equestria, she was just playing the role of a poor chimney sweeper, maybe in present day ponyville or canterlot she owns a successful chimney cleaning company. :)
