This is a world where gods of chaos are forgiven moments after they betray a nation and where timeline destroying cult leaders are allowed to live with a princess. The only thing stopping trixie from accepting help or moving on with her life was her own pride. Twilight has everyones best interest at heart and if trixie had stuck around after either episode she may very well heave ended up where starlight is now, but alas the staff has never really been sure what to do with her till now because she was never meant to be more then a oneshot character.


 
Luckily for us we seem to be getting more trixie goodness in the future as the staff finally seem to have realized the awesome story and character potential trixie posseses. Either that or they realized how badly they botched starlight's redemtion and decided to counteract her tepid reception by hooking her up with a fan favourite darkhorse like trixie and hope that trixie's popularity would rub off on her a bit.
