Hehe, I can only ever imagine Twilight as a fanfic writer as being overly excited and awkward. XD

Currently writing a fanfic about Twi writing a fanfic. XD
It’s always been a well known and established fact that Twilight Sparkle writes fan/ship/clopfiction, especially involving her friends. :p
That’s true about the ghosts, I was thinking more about Snowdash and Flutterholly. XD
Proof Twilight writes fanfiction?
I think it has to do with Twilight Sparkle reading the story, I’m guessing because she reads/sings the role in Pinkie Pies voice, the character is visualized as Pinkie Pie.
Plus all the puns Pinkie would make about presents and the present. XD
I’m not sure if all of them have an in-universe reason, but Pinkie being the spirit of HWE presents is because Twilight was signing her song in her “pinkie voice” (fun fact: Tara Strong originally auditioned for the role of Pinkie, and when Lauren heard her she realized she would be perfect for Twilight).
