Not really? Again, I don’t think anybody really think Appledash or Flutterdash will ever be cannon for obvious reasons, and shipping is fuel for those is just, well, fuel to see which pairing will fit better. While , ever since Flash, MANY people think there could be a CANNON love interests for some of the mane 6, which pit them against all the others.

Isn’t that literally every ship ever though? Ofcoarse the SoarinDashers are gonna be excited about every little detail involving the two. It is scenes that involve their favorite couple interacting with each other. This episode is pretty much like taking a dip in a pool full of pudding for them.

Mostly because pretty much every Lesbian shippers between the mane 6 knows that the ship will always be fannon and never ever be acknowledged by the show.
 
Meanwhile Soarindashers try to find every way to push it as cannon pretty much everytime she interacts with the wonderbolt, and this is no exception.

I, for one, enjoy the soarindash ships, though I would speculate that those who don’t like it ship dash with the farm background pone, or think that he’s stealing their waifu.

Considering that image is of a purple pony with a rainbowmane, you know, like her FATHER, i would say it is not dash and instead her father who turns out to have been a wonderbolt. This could also explain why she idolizes the wonderbolts so much, because he used to be one. Or maybe it is an ancestor, because i think the show should finally explain how the “maretale” of a sonic-rainboom started
