Or the door Spike slammed into Twilight in Feeling Pinkie Keen. Some revenge for him. Actually that is the only episode I can remember that had Spike level abuse on Twilight :P.
Slapstick has happened to almost every character in this show particularly Rainbow Dash and Twilight because they can shake it off. And Spike’s had a door slammed in his face in S4, where were you Spike people then?
Slapstick usually doesn’t work on fluttershy due to her reactions being way too subdued.

…Because it’s funny? It’s just slapstick comedy. I laughed when Twilight ‘ported out from beneath him and let her momentum carry him into Golden Oak Library’s window.
Besides, it’s not like the animators showed him all bandaged up afterword, or the audio department inserted crunching SFX. He just pulled himself out, dazed and wobbly.
