I’m betting she doesn’t get wings, but hasbro was being pissy about making a toyline/mold for just two characters not being worth the investment, and Told the merch people they’d have to use another of the mane six besides Sunset and twilight to make the toyline worth the money to make its molds and set up production.

So they grabbed RD since she’s popular and made toys of her for the line, but in the movie only sunset and Twilight will get a super mode.

Why does Rainbow Dash have crystal wings, anyway? Does she get a new transformation in the movie? I can understand Sunset and Twilight getting wings, but why Rainbow Dash and not the rest of the girls? Meh. probably just a gimmick.
