| Just Cadence and Big Macintosh in a moment alone together – haven’t drawn these two together in quite a while and that’s a shame because I love these two together. |
| They’re so young and relaxed and in love, just enjoying the comfort of each other’s company with all the stress and the masks stripped away – it’s a testament to how comfortable Cadence is that she’s freely letting her horn show, for my teen Cadence that’s a sign of trust that she only extends to Big Macintosh. |
| Big Macintosh as a punk rock cowboy in his teen years is one of my favorite headcanons – look at this shy sweetheart with his slicked back hair and black neckerchief and spike cuffs… bless his heart. He looks like the bad boy who corrupted the good girl when really he’s the lovestruck good boy happily following his troublemakin’ gal wherever she goes and making sure she’s safe and not going overboard. He gets into a lot more trouble with her than he would on his own and he wouldn’t have it any other way. |
Solo – actually he probably stumbled into it by accident was just playing guitar for Cadence one day and suddenly he has posters made up all over their school to play at a concert and neither he nor Cadence had any clue what was going on.
He probably still plays guitar for Cadence – whether the canon divergence happens or not. It would be cute if Cadence, Shining Armor and Flurry Heart visited Ponyville and he played some lullabies for her (bonus points if he and Cadence duet)
Does he have a band, or roll solo?
He might not have his awesome yoke or his Ponytones sweater but he has a princess wife and a lot of sweet accessories so I say it’s a win!
Well then it’s a good thing this is when the two of them are teenagers before she gets into a relationship with Shining Armor – otherwise you’d have something to be mad about wouldn’t you? :)
It yielded dividends, I see.
