Ah, the lovely Spells R’ Us disasters. Enchanted costumes, transformative foods, mind control mints, mind destroying ‘truth’ mirrors, various products designed to bind two souls together in a far more literal sense than one might think, portable holes, and all sorts of fun things come to mind.
You remember the Enchanted Comics shop from the “Power Ponies” episode, right?
I’m pretty sure Canterlot has a “Macguffins R Us” store on every street corner.
Well maybe I should say not easily activated or triggered on accident. That’s how whatever it is gets passed around from yard sale to yard sale without realizing how valuable and/or dangerous it is until some school colt or filly fooling with it as a prop in a game of pretend stumbles upon the trigger.
Tomorrows show and tell should be rather entertaining.
Also wonder what some examples could be?
One can only hope often sans the not easily used part. It makes a magical world that much more amusing to think about.
You know how sometimes rare and expensive or even priceless antiques turn up in plain type homes and yard sales?
I wonder how often powerful or dangerous magic items would show up in Equestrian homes, provided they are not easily activated or the full potential of them is not to easily recognized of course.
