Description
I was going through some images on google of Impalas getting their ears cleaned by Ox Pecker Birds, and I thought it was rather cute.
So I decided to take one of the Impalas from the first drawing that I made of them and have her ears be cleaned the same way as so.
This individual Impala is Celta or the very far right one in this image right here.–––––> http://thefriendlyelephant.deviantart.com/art/Camira-Chelly-Chamina-and-Celta-the-Impalas-604487090
The actual photo that I referenced from can be found right here.———> https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/53/b8/14/53b814213d7041a4c26f14f48c2a8484.jpg

Thank you! Yes indeed!
Oxpecker Birds have a naturally colored red tip on their beaks. It’s not blood. But you are correct, they do eat bugs and parasites off of the hosts that they land on.

there’s birds that do this kind of stuff with tons of large animals
and there’s fish and shrimp that do the same thing with aquatic critters. like sharks.
Very cool! I thought it was just alligators!
In actuality, birds actually do this, and it helps other animals from getting ear infections. Cool huh?
