It’s set before the alicorn amulet episode so she’s going to have to leave with the desire for vengeance against Twilight Sparkle still on her mind, unless Fou Du Bulbe takes it into an AU. It’ll probably be a gut-punch if it happens, and that’s even if it’s done right.

I just hope that after it does, a post-episode epilogue to this story either gets them back together or gives them some friendly closure.
