‘Not to mention the mission Of Their Own Accord, whose intro briefing is the Emergency Fucking Broadcast System, telling civilians to evacuate the area. It even throws in a dash of Fridge Horror with the last bit about “BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS. REMAIN ALERT.” The civilians have to be alert because the Russian soldiers are killing any Americans they find, not just military personnel.  
As if the broadcast system wasn’t bad enough, the intro starts literally a second after the previous mission. The term Jump Scare dosen’t even begin to do it justice.  
It’s specifically disturbing to us because, since it fills the entire screen and is made to resemble an actual Emergency Broadcast Message, it looks like it’s actually a REAL Emergency Broadcast Message, as if they’re warning you that the Russians really ARE coming to your homes to shoot you dead (If you’re playing the game in America, anyway)’

Well, I understand that it is a game, but seriously, WAT?

Only CoD game I beat since the first and it’s expansion.  
Fun game.

Well, I suppose most of us played the earlier CoD games on PS2, so we have something to compare the recent games to.

luckily bronys must be from the good side of COD the one that dosent scream cusses & profanity and rasial slurs and gloat about how there SO MLG PRO. and how awsome there 360 no scope was so legit. becoase thats the number one reason i dont play COD

Well I got gamestop’s powerup rewards so I can probably pick up a used copy for even cheaper.

Right now, Specs Ops is going for 40 bucks on the consoles, and 30 bucks on the PC at walmart. If you have a shop like hastings or gamestop near you, you might be able to get a used copy for a little over half of that.
 
I’m really pushing this game because it’s the first game in a long while that I’ve enjoyed the storyline of a shooter game

Yeah I played that demo and was pretty satisfied with it.
 
Maybe when it gets cheaper.

Definitely consider getting it, the Campaign is a awesome, the visuals are gorgeous and equally mortifying, and the story will leave an impact.

See there are actually good FPS/TPS.
 
They aren’t all COD.
 
Spec Ops, Hell’s Highway and um….. probably something else that’s pretty good.

It might be good to know that in my rants I’m talking primarily about MP for all the games.

I never played Hell’s Highway, partly because I didn’t have a PS3 when that game was being promoted.
 
I recently finished Spec Ops: The Line. That game is a third person, cover-based shooter. But holy biscuits, the story in that game! After all the shit that the CoD and MoH games have become, I found The Line to be a gem

Eh, I never really played COD games back then for multiplayer, shocking as that is. I would play it but that wasn’t the reason why I picked it up.

It certainly was. I mean the Russian Campaign was probably the best campaign in WaW and Dmitri was badass.
 
Especially that last scene where he plants the Russian flag over Berlin. Powerful shit.
