Nope, same here. I wasn’t really a big fan of a handful of villains. The Dazzlings were just so fun and felt so relatable. Plus they have some of my favorite designs in the whole series.
Well, it was good that she got some development in the season five finale. Maybe we’ll get more flashbacks and development from here on out. That’s what they seem to be doing with her.
Well, she did get a short redux in the season five finale (so I suppose my “no development at all was a little bit of a hyperbole”). I found that to be particularly interesting since she remains in that episode to be pretty much like the stock evil-queen Disney villain; however, I find it very interesting that she is the only character who seems to be intelligent enough to realize she’s stumbled on something very important when she hears that Twilight is from another time. Much like Milton’s Satan, I like to think that Nightmare Moon even at her most evil has some admirable traits

You do have a point, that would have been great. I would love to know more about their backstory. It’s a shame that Nightmare Moon got only a two parter to be developed in.
It would have been nice though if they could have developed them a little more though. I think Nightmare Moon has the greatest potential to be a good villain, but they haven’t developed her at all
Not at all! They’re very well written and compelling characters. There’s a lot to love about them.
is it weird that I actually prefer these three over any villain from the series and other movies?
