When is Brann ever used not to combo? He’s generally not a card you just put on the board for tempo. Also, saying a 3 mana card and a 5 drop with absolutely no synergy “perfectly curve” together the same way Tiny Knight of Evil perfectly curves with Twilight Drake.
Someetimes you just make a mistake, and that’s okay. You thought it was a battlecry at first, and Brann would be amazing for that if it was.

Of course if it were me, I’d end up with a Twilight Whelp every time because Hearthstone’s RNG hates me. I swear, every second or third Piloted Shredder I play is piloted by a Captain’s Parrot.
