They could always memorize if the hand they write with is right or left, then use process of elimination to do the rest, like I do sometimes

Yeah….. uhhh. Dyslexic people have that problem too. It’s one of the main symptoms.
More along the lines of a problem with the linkage between the two halves of her brain, which is part of what allows you to tell left from right
I know, as pointed before, the joke here is that she points nowhere near the door’s direction
“Right, Frog.”
I dunno, I think they could have handled it better; I just found it to be a funny moment in the episode
she didn’t actually say “to the right”
I’m just referring to where she points her hoof vs. where she actually goes
