That and she still has her less than mentally stable state.
Understandable. Starlight is what would be referring to in wrestling terms as a ‘tweener,’ or a recently redeemed heel still transitioning into a face. Thus she still shows heel tendencies like scheming.
You could actually hear a bit of her more confident Cutie Remark voice in those scenes. Main reason she seems to sound different is because she doesn’t really have much of her bravado.
