no, they didn’t use it. one of the spells Sunburst mentioned when he came to fix the crystal heart was a spell to suppress her powers.

Nope. They went through a ceremony that makes Crystal Heart stronger with the love for the baby. Not used up the baby’s mary-sue-the-plot-device powers to restore it.
She still has the overpowered magic, horn, wings, and a name that’ll end with her being the villain in 20 years or so. Because she’s gonna be mocked MERCILESSLY for it. “Ha ha, your parents named you in honor of your pretentuous alicorn magic almost destroying Crystal Empire and killing-by-proxy all you now hold dear? SO LAME!”.
That’s pretty much what happened though?
Difference is though, Flurryheart is not a main character and will be seen like twice or so in the entire season probably.
She could probably fly as a baby too, given that the whole justification for all these things are foal magic surges.
Honestly I’ve hoped Crystal Heart restoration would involve depowering the damn thing so it would need to actually work like the others to get alicornhood. Sorta like draining her magic to replenish the Heart.
