I sometimes wonder if it’s awkward for the Q Family at Christmas, with Q and Discord the big shot successes and Trelane desperately struggling to get his roofing business off the ground.
 
To be fair, though, Trelane is infinitely better at dressing snappily.

I don’t think he was God, or even a god. I think he was just another cranky energy being with an agenda, one that couldn’t get through the shield around the planet without a ship. (Oh, and you win bonus points for making a reference to Vorlons.)

@Elric Seriously, what DOES God need with a starship? At least the Vorlons have the excuse of needing guns to kill things that psychic lasers can’t; if the Enterprise and some random Klingon ship can escape, so can the reality warper akin to an Abrahamic deity! DX

The book in question is Q-Squared by Peter David, and it’s a fun read. I picked up a copy at one of my sources for used books, and I recommend doing the same.
