Is it just me or does Rarity often get paired up with earth ponies? She had a Pinkie Pie, Babs, Cheerilee and this Maud one. Why do they pair her up with earth ponies? Im not complaining because Rarity hanging out with the Apple and Pie family can help my favorite shipping (Rarimac). I guess I just don't remember any of the other pairings she's had in the comics. Plus she has been paired recently in the show cannon with Pinkie and Maud, which helps my Rarimaud shipping as well.
