Genocide is…a strange thing. It truly is an endurance test of grinding and sadism, and the ending dovetails HARD into all of the Creepypasta cliches you would guess Toby was above. That said, the character development of Undyne and Sans is worth the price of admission, and in the various battles and dialogue there is a lot of world building that is necessary to understand the full width and breadth of Undertale’s narrative. I know a lot of people shit on Genocide Run players for being “completionist murderers”, but, awful as it is to watch and play, you honestly cannot grasp the true scope of the story and its stakes without playing it. If you don’t eat your meat you can’t have any pudding.

I actually explicitly forgot Heats Flamesman existed, but the name itself stuck in my head. It’s like everyone how knew who Steve Miller was but nobody really knew what he looked like.
