Imagine if in an alternate universe, Rainbow Dash’s hair color was caused by her accidentally falling into a big vat of rainbow liquid and it took her a long time to get out, inadvertently giving the “chemicals” time to settle permanently. Except the change wasn’t visible just yet, simply easy to wash out, but washing it out was an even bigger mistake… as it made the chemicals speed up their rate, and when Dashie wakes up the next morning, she’s initially shocked but then eventually ok with her new hair color, thinking it’s just temporary. Days go by, turning into weeks, and weeks into months, yet no change. And yes, I know in the time since this was new, we’ve learned it’s indeed natural
