This picture makes me imagine griffons who visit dreams, to protect children from monsters, and grant to them the best of their wishes. These children would also be riding on the griffons to the stars.

I just can hope that for those poor children. Aparently, Canada won´t take any of that “liberty of religion” excuse if it put in danger the life of the citizens or the inmigrants itself, and will deport those who are not cooperative or that don´t want to integrate to western society.

Even all the can’t take away from how earnestly sweet and wonderful this chance encounter was; thanks to all the fursuiters who took the time to have a goofy little dance with a bunch of kids who were at a really lousy time in their lives. Removed from all the terrible internet stereotypes, all they and their parents knew was that a bunch of people were dressed up in funny animal costumes and having a good time together, which is, y’know, what was actually happening. This was pretty great, y’all.

A decent, basic suit would set you back about $1600 and up. It depends on how experienced the builder is and how intricate the design is.  
A basic suit from the person I want to get one from would probably be $2500. That person is also one of the top-notch builders, though. But his style is exactly what I want.

Gilda was many thousands. She’s my 4th suit. Sure you can get a cheap fursuit, but you get what you pay for. Worth it.

Actually, that might be even better because of the juxtoposition of the positive experience with western culture (happy dancing with fursuiters) and the negative reinforcement with their native culture. Such things work towards moving them towards a western culture when they grow up.

I have mixed feelings about this, but considering between dancing with furries, and living in a city full of flying debris and exploding things, this was the best outcome for those children.

This is so heart warming. Glad to see people care about the Syrian refugees. Especially the kids. 15% of all Syrian refugees are children. Glad to see people care. I would have totally done that too.  
Nice fursuit. How much would on like that set me back? Any furrys know what where to get the cheapest fursuit?

Heh. Those little hops really make me think of astronauts hopping in their suits. Probably due to similarities in that both are large suits, meaning you’re a lot more hesitant to crouch/lean/jump a lot further?
 
Of course on the moon they were doing it for an entirely different reason :p
