But I should tell you that some of these children do not want to go to space. They fear that either they will be far from their homes and their families, or aliens might seize them and subject them into slavery.
 
And although they would like gryphon rides, not all of them are ready to fly towards the enemy to do battle. Many of these children lived through the horrors of war, so they would rather live in peace for the moment.
