I would hope so. Sunbeam’s actions and behavior were a large part of what set off the rebellion in the first place, all with her always receiving zero consequence, and it irritates me that people seem to ignore that and just blame Celestia herself.
I know it seems stupid to harp over a fictional character, but Sunbeam touches on a lot of character tropes I really dislike, and people seem to love her for some reason.
(It occurs to me now I had initially commented on the wrong picture. :p )

Sequel story “The Golden Path” (cover art is here) shows how she improved.
It’s implied Shadow has been an influence on her.
I got as far as Gathering Shadows #7 and stopped.
She gets better in later stories
Sunbeam Sparkle. The character is just too grating for me. Everyone else seems to love her though.

It wasn’t, but I wasn’t exactly pointing that out. More of a jab, really.
True, but I was unaware of that at the time. I don’t think the chapter that revealed that was out yet.
Oh no, Sunset got that one. Remember, Daylight Shimmer is Sunbeam’s blood son. Midnight is adopted, like Gale.
At least it’s JUST the social awkwardness, and not the full on sociopathy…
