Description
Who knows how long she’d been there, she could barely keep track of the time… lost count after a month, the cycle of light and dark being her only way to tell the passage of time once the chiming clock she kept upstairs had run down. The potion evidently was permanent… it wasn’t going to wear off, she’d come to realize in her idle thoughts.
Eventually her consciousness started to fade in and out, almost like a sleep, blissfully passing the time more quickly, only roused from the petrified slumber when noises alerted her, which was so very infrequent now… so quiet.
Seasons later, perhaps years, after the dust had settled thickly upon her she heard voices and movement, and found herself carried up into her own attic and stored away upon a pallet. The ponies remarked about the eccentric owner of the house that had vanished, how it was eventually sold, and wonder as to why she’d have kept a statue like this. They hadn’t any idea that it had once been a pony, and she couldn’t tell them.
Quiet befell her once more in the attic, the dust slowly settling again, cobwebs made here and there as time went by, the cycle of day and night never ending… unknown if she would ever be returned to flesh.

Part 5 of 5
For Silvupis ~! Fun transformation sequence with their bat pony, Eventide. ^^
Oh yeah! Along with the dragon popping out of Twilight’s skin. Happy ending aside, this comics could’ve been much much darker.
If you think this one is horrifying, go check out the one with Mercury Shine petrified in Everfree and sinking into the swamp forever~ :D

It specifically states that they didn’t know it had once been a pony. So no, that’s not it.
Given that apparently she only has petrification (in stone and rubber varieties) and knockout potions, most likely the workers left her in the attic on purpose - perhaps the guards identified her as the source of multiple murders via stone-and-maul, perhaps one of the victims of her potions was a friend or a relative of the workers, et cetera.
Exactly my thought lmao
Okay, not to ruin it for people who like this kinda stuff. (Not a fan myself) But really?
Other Pony: Wait wait wait. So you’re saying you found this statue right here in that room that looks like a laboratory?
Pony 1: Yeah?
Other Pony: And… she’s in this position looking horrified at something.
Pony 2: So?
Other Pony: So, didn’t you say there were two empty vials on the ground near her?
Pony 1: Well yeah, weird place to put a statue right?
Pony 2: Yeah, why would anypony make such a thing.
Other Pony: smacks them both What are you two brain dead!? There just happens to be a statue of a pony looking horrified IN A LAB WITH POTIONS WHERE TWO VIALS ARE EMPTY NEAR IT. facehoofs Go get me a un-petrification spell you dolts!
