haha yeah… I can remember when they said at the end of Crimefest 2 that the second reward for the COP owners aka me will be ONE fucking skin from a RANDOM weapon which might be worth ~10 bucks or maybe only 20 cents… seems pretty fair :^{)

I only lurk around the payday subreddit here and there. The only thing that annoys me is that when pd always gets an (small) update … it will be another 1GB to download anyway :})))

And the other masks were kind of why we bought it in the first place? Well that and we thought it would also include what was included in the regular Overkill pack but that turned out to be wishful thinking.

Did you catch the newest BS about the COP? Everyone, who bought COP, got already released DLCs, but that is not enough, now the owners are getting…guess what, MORE MASKS! Yes, masks to compensate…it hurts to much.

yeah.. I have almost the same backstory with PD2 like you, PreOrdered the career criminal editon (or what ever that was called)… over 1,3 k hours .. but I always bought the (Heist) DLCs when they were released because it was such a fair deal… back then when there were lots of free content and paid content… but lately the game doesnt interest me at all… maybe its a bit sad… but I had a lot fun with my friends back in 2013,14 and a bit last year…

well I dont mind the skins… its just sad that payday 2 is used as a big cashcow for ovk/starbreeze… and they make it so obvious as fuck… Goat Simulator DLC… John Wick Char… Point Break DLC… Chivalry Weapons… (Im not talking about the quality of the Heists, e.g. Point Break Heists are really fun)…  
I can remember the name “payday” was associated with: “core coop game thats challenging with badass robbers”… now when people talk about payday its more like: “microtransaction, 45948393 DLCs, ripoff, Pay2Win, Meme Game”

Oh and there is a way to bypass the microtransactions and get right to the skins. But it’s best I don’t say.

I preordered PD2 with the Bain bonus and played the Beta, over 1k hours of playtime here in PD2. Damn, it was so good, even with the DLC policy, that you could ignore and wait for a sale to get them later.

yeah… by now I would also recommend PD:TH over PD2… even tho I got 600 hours more in PD2 than in PD:TH…

Where everyone has access to medbag and ammo bag deployables so you don’t have to pray that someone spec’d into a certain skill tree to have what you need.

Actually, the mask is from Payday 2! Payday: the heist and Payday 2 are different games with different mechanics.
 
Payday 2 have tons of DLC and Microtransactions. Don’t buy it, get the original experience and get Payday: the heist.

Oh, I loved this game! Haven’t played it since like, May, though. Got really… grind-y after only 100 hours to me.

Fun game, but best with friends, and tons of microtransactions. The core gameplay is solid, though.
