Emerald looks up at the creature in front of him, and waits for it to pounce. When it charges forward and leaps Emerald hits the deck, waiting for him to land on the other side so he can kick him.
 
However he needn’t bother. The creature lands near Emerald’s haunch, and clearing not expecting the colt to flatten himself to the floor ends up tripping and rolling down the hill, colliding with his partner as it closes in.
 
Emerald quickly gets to his hooves and runs up the slope, the monsters still in hot pursuit.
 
Emerald finally sees the light of day in front of him, and he is sure he could reach it before the two creatures catch him again, however he’s had some pretty good luck fighting them on these slopes, maybe he should wait and try to find some opportunity here on the incline again?
