True. I definitely see what you mean; still, having controversial or uncommon views doesn’t necessarily deter a group’s popularity as long as they still sound good, as I’ve seen only too many times.
 
Note that I didn’t say that there’s someone for everyone; I clearly stated that there are many people compatible for everyone. I’m also against the idea of a one-true-love mindset in which everyone has an exact match in this world and if you can’t find them, you’re just SOL. But I do believe that every type of person is compatible with at least one other type of person well enough to want to spend their life with someone like that. Whoever you deem is exactly good enough for you is here or there, but my point is everyone can find someone to love, if they’re really looking.

Oh, I wasn’t implying that, just that the band has a distinctly… negative look on relationships, that wouldn’t be nearly as appealing compared to the Adele-loving romantic nature of the more popular songs. Or even the Beyonce-loving “survivalist”-style of relationships being a thing of the past and the desire to move on.
 
And I get what you’re saying, but rest assured… I’m very much against the idea of there being someone for everyone; it’s too positive of an idea for me to get behind…

Yup, BigBad is right. Rebecca’s done Sunset’s voice for all three EqG movies. She is also Twilight’s singing voice, meaning she’s been a part of the show’s cast since the very first episode, as one of the first voices you hear; the title theme.

Don’t tell yourself that. There’s a ton of compatible people for everyone. You’ve just got to find one you love enough to live with his/her flaws, and vice-versa. ;)
 
The music is good too. ;p Jan may be popular, but he doesn’t define a band’s career simply from having done a video for one of their songs.

It really is amazing. You could do a “slightly different clothes” edit of a picture of Sunset Shimmer that already got a million edits a million years ago, and it’ll still get top upvotes. That’s how much of the fandom’s waifu Sunset Shimmer is.  
I ain’t complainin’, though. I’m proud.
