“They say getting your cutie mark is the happiest moment for a filly, so why am I not happy?”

Or she’d become a bully like her canon counterpart as a response to being bullied, it makes perfect sense, she gets bullied for having a “lame” cutie mark, so she bullies the cmc for having NO cutie marks. it’s the hierarchy of bullying, the low feed on those even lower than them as a way to make the pain stop.
Before anyone decides to tell me how this could never work in a million years, please understand one thing ahead of time: I’m sure you’re right. I was just having a little fun imagining this scenario.
Speaking personally, I became a snarker and a smart-aleck as a defense mechanism of sorts, so it’s possible Silver Spoon’s personality would still resemble her canon counterpart’s.
On a more serious note, I do like how Silver Spoon’s emotions are shown here. Really adds to it in my opinion.
Eventually, most of them will grow out of it. A few won’t. Silver Spoon showed signs of growing out of it long before Diamond Tiara did.
Destiny, may bad.
Not necessarily: a lot of fans of Silver Spoon think her talent might have something to do with cooking or food. The fact her VA (Shannon Chan-Kent) happens to be a foodie is just the icing on the cake as far as that headcanon is concerned.
But Silver Spoon doesn’t have an uninteresting cutie mark; she has one that describes her perfectly. She’s a child of privilege, born into the upper class of Pony society. Her “special talent” is being entitled.
It’s intended to be a little different. Since Babs Seed didn’t have her cutie mark, she would have likely been bullied for being blank flank or for being chubby by the other fillies. This has Silver Spoon being made fun of for having what appears to be an uninteresting cutie mark, and she later meets Diamond Tiara who tells her the meaning of her cutie mark isn’t important, but having one is all that matters (this is before Dia got her cutie mark).
While I like this pic, I’m not sure I like that origin for Silver Spoon: it’s too much like Babs Seed for my liking.
thats not really how the world works you know…
A very similar one, until Diamond Tiara came around and became her friend. DT protecting her from bullies by making them both bullies would explain her loyalty to Diamond Tiara until Diamond Tiara pushed it too far.
@Twifan
So the same origin as Babs Seed?
I think this is more of what leads to her “dishing it out”, not because of her acts. She got bullied so much before that she ended up becoming a bigger bully in self defense.
And about six more in need of a slap.
