“…THATS EVEN WORSE!!”
Hi, Mr./Ms. Says the Same thing on several different pics. >>30038 >>392154 ;)
Edited
Try “pinkie prick”.
Oh, I won’t deny season 1 has its fair share of creepy faces (RD’s introduction for one). They do, however, seem to correlate with violations of 3D space, such as making the mouth too big for the muzzle.
This image, on the other hand, sticks to the rules quite nicely.
I’d say I disagree, I think the art, and animation actually got better after season 1. As for the “freaky faces” remark, I kinda like the show’s facial expressions personally, and S1 had some rather odd ones to. I still feel Season 1 (as good as it was) was kinda overrated, and had flaws to.
But to each their own.
Boy are we getting off topic, lol we’re not even talking about the image anymore.
No, I don’t think it’s weird. You’ve just set your threshold for what you’ll tolerate in your media differently.
I didn’t say the pilot was the best, just that it was my favourite. I do think it has better art, though. Season 1’s art is quite neat, while season 2’s art has gotten sloppy, but is trying more technically sophisticated scenes. Personally, I don’t think the increased sophistication is worth the sloppiness in other areas and the increase in freaky faces.
I honestly don’t see much difference in the writing style between the seasons honestly. While Season 1 was good, I don’t see how it was much better then Season 2 or 4 personally. (In fact, honestly I think I prefer those seasons. I’ve seen Season 1 so much, it kinda got old for me, as much as I loved it.)
Honestly, I can’t think of a single episode of the series I “hate” to the point of not watching the show anymore… Is that weird?
I didn’t really like the pilot 2-parter much until later after I got into the series, and became more familiar with the characters, and such. While I admit it wasn’t bad, I don’t see why it’s often considered the best episode of the series.
@Frogster
That’s up to personal opinion/preference, not “absolute fact.” I like some of the later games whether 2D or 3D. (I even liked the hated-Shadow game, despite it’s flaws.)
I like the old Sonics, but I don’t think all the old Sonics were good either.
(Some of the Game Gear games were crap, I felt. Though, I LOVED “Tails Adventure.”)
Middle of season 2? “Putting Your Hoof Down” was episode 19. Given I made it to the three-quarters mark before calling it quits, I think I can say I gave it a fair shot at returning to standard. I did give the show one more chance to keep me watching with the Season 3 promo, though. Its job was to convince me that Season 3 would be good enough to make sitting through the remaining seven (probably crap) episodes I had worthwhile. It failed miserably. These days, if I watch the show, it’s Season 1, “Return of Harmony” or “Luna Eclipsed”.
You didn’t get hooked on the pilot? That’s surprising. It’s my favourite story. Also my first stop for reference material when drawing (not that I’m very good, mind you).
Why did you have to make that Sonic analogy? People are justified in hating the later games. They suck.
Well, I liked those episodes personally. Sure they were kinda silly, but I liked ‘em.
You haven’t seen any episodes sense the middle of season 2? Shame, ‘cause there’s some pretty good ep’s after that, I feel.
(No offense to anyone, but I’m still amazed there’s so many bronies who only like the first season, and no other episodes. It’s like all those Sonic fans that only like Sonic 1, & 2, and hate every other game. I’m honestly starting to think season 1 is overrated. In fact, honestly, the first 2 episodes didn’t hook me into the series, and I didn’t start becoming a brony ’till I saw the third episode “Ticket Master.”)
Everyone loves “A Friend In Deed”? Not me. I hate it almost as much as I hate “Lesson Zero”. It’s the episode which killed my enthusiasm for new episodes. I saw the next one out of inertia, but nothing after that.
Yeah, that’s what I assumed to personally. Sometimes Pinkie just goes overboard without realizing it. It doesn’t make her a bad person/pony.
Some fans though feel Pinkie was a bit “flanderized” in that ep’, sense in a previous ep’ (“Griffon the Brush-Off”) she stopped Dashie from pranking Fluttershy insisting even their most innocent pranks would probably upset her due to how sensative she is. So sometimes she is considerate of others’ feelings, but this isn’t really the first time she’s been oblivious to them, as well. (Like looking at “A friend in Deed” where she acted even crazier then in “Fili Vanilli” IMO, but everyone loves that ep’ regardless, and I never see any complaints over it.)
Some say it’s “inconsistent,” but personally I think it makes Pinkie a li’l more human, sense sometimes even we make mistakes like that, or go overboard.
Also, considering Flutters got a bit more “assertive” sense Season 2, (especially “Putting Your Hoof down”) that might’ve also contributed to why Pinkie might’ve also been oblivious to Flutters’ feelings, and didn’t realize she was upsetting her.

@Beau Skunky
Really, from the first episode Pinkie’s been portrayed as not always picking up when she’s annoying or upsetting someone. Personally, I do feel that she should have realized what she was doing to Fluttershy near the end of her first outburst, because even Pinkie’s not that clueless, but the climax can easily be explained as Pinkie trying to get Fluttershy to realize that all the audience attention really wasn’t as bad as Fluttershy feared it would be.
I never really found her “mean” in that episode, she wasn’t trying to upset Flutters on purpose, and didn’t even know she was due to her naivety.
Honestly, Pinkie’s one of the least “meanest” characters in the show.

I think those are just grey mountains in the background, I don’t see anything on fire, but there is smoke/dust clouds coming from Derpy’s trashed stand.
’ “Muffins”? Is that a word for sh+t - tier cupcake?’
Pinkie: You don’t put sprinkles on muffins!!
