It’s not even a trace, you can see how uneven the outlines are, how some parts are pixellated, and how art styles between different parts don’t match up.
Well, yeah, they’re complaining about something pointless, but the artist also traces apparently, because the style of his uploads isn’t always consistent. Ah, well. ^w^
Mary artists use background from google. I saw it in many arts.

Even if you just look on the person’s DA page, you notice pictures of varying art styles that don’t look like they were drawn by the same guy.
