I don’t know the full history of their pre-WWII grudge but all I know it has to do with the First Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 which is regarding to Korea.

Note:
Around the late 19th Century, China was still in its last dynastic rule of the Manchurian Qing.
And Japan was in the middle of the Meiji Period; the beginning of a more modernized Japan.

not,mostly due to anti-Japan war of 1937-1945,
and Government propaganda.

Not a Llama - Happy April Fools Day!

M-mm, I’m loving that five year old stock art they used for Twilight. And those poorly pasted on wings just complete the whole image.

I never even learned why China and Japan hated each other in the 1800s. XD

China and Japan have hated each other since basically forever, mostly due to Korea.

Yet another MLP bus. Just like the one I’ve previously found and uploaded here.

Tomodachi wa Mahou actually means “Friends are Magic”, so maybe it’s something similar. Friendship is Magic is actually “Yuujou wa Mahou”, not the preceding.

I doubt I could be of any more help. I probably know the least amount of Chinese in my family, even though Grandma is from China and Mom is from Hong Kong. I never even learned why China and Japan hated each other in the 1800s. XD

Those are traditional Chinese characters. I’m rather rusty at it, but if anyone’s curious, the white words roughly translate into: “Friendship really is Magic; Little Horses go to school together”. I’d wager this is a school-bus sponsored by Hasbro.

I can’t tell what the four characters in the logo mean though.
