Nekubi is the one that always draws her with her legs amputated. Nekubi is also probably the artist that draws her the most. So it only looks like artists only ever draw her this way.

Perhaps translation has changed your comment too much, because that sounds pretty messed up. The artist does not repeatedly dismember the character for the thrill of it each time they draw her. Their version of her simply has no legs. And there’s nothing gross about that.
They cut her legs again and again i think just for fun,beacause i dont see any different reasons for this. And this is just disgusting.
They probably do it for the same reason that people keep asking why they do. Because they can.
