Description

G1 Scorpan was a human king whose kingdom Tirek conquered. After dethroning him, he transformed him into a gargoyle demon. Despite this, he deeply cared for G1 Spike, an orphaned dragon he adopted. Tirek probably killed his parents.

It’s never confirmed if he was Prince Scorpan or if that was just a name/title Tirek gave him in his gargoyle form.

Though this origin is cool, Tirek and Scorpan being demon bros is more interesting.

Still hope they’ll explore a Spike & Tirek episode sometime though.

Tirek mostly killed Spike parents and Scorpan’s subjects too. MLP was probably the most hardcore cartoon of Hasbro’s franchise and it had Optimus dying and Shipwreck from G.I. Joe watching how clones of his friends meld in front of him.

But just look at him.
