It’s mostly because a lot bragged at them being all female and essentially mocking people for “Taking over” When they could have done a movies with all know Ghostbusters with male and female characters. They don’t even have faith in the movie as they announced an “All male” one for next year.
 
Not to mention acting like it’s awesome without it coming out. Wasn’t there another movie that was drastically changed and people gave a huff and people blindly defended it only for the movie to be utter garbage? Yeah what was that called again?

i don’t know why so many people are against the new 2016 Ghostbusters movie? I mean sure there going to be females playing as the legendary Ghostbusters but it doesn’t mean this movie will be awful for Christ sake! especially the crap what there going up against in this movie. to my prospective I think that this movie might kick major ghost butt! and to any body that says otherwise to this movie you can talk to the hoof because I don’t give a fine crap of your opinion to this wonderful movie!

Yeah which is only some six months away and there is even so much as a trailer out.
 
In a world where they start stuffing a movie down your throat 18 months before it even comes out that either means it’s so bad the studio can’t even figure out how to market it or it’s so mediocre they don’t want to release a trailer and preview material because they don’t have anything to work with.
