None of that was a “lie.” That was the staff intentionally giving out extremely obviously fake spoilers as a joke, because fans wouldn’t stop bugging them about future episodes. They’re legally obligated to not give away anything about episode details, so they usually just joke around when fans ask about it.

All these spoilers. There’s still nothing on Starlight Glimmer, not even anything hinting her appearance at all.

I may not have evidence for the Season 5 one, but I do have evidence of season 4, watch Pinkie Apple Pie, look closely at the mirror, Pinkie scribbled glasses, balloons, a huge eyebrow and….WINGS on her reflection. In Pinkie Pride, she sang a song where in one scene the wind was blowing her mane as she stood at a balcony (THAT SOUNDS SUSPISCOUSLY LIKE TWILIGHT’S PREPARED SONG WHEN WIND BLEW ON HER MANE WHEN SHE WAS SINGING AT A LEDGE IN CANTERLOT!!!), I could possibly be cheating with this, but Maud Pie, a sibling we never knew about, just like goddamn Shining Armor. So there’s the Princess Pinkie lie.
 
As for Spike’s Ex, there was gonna be an episode called ‘Spike & Rarity sitting in a tree’ where Spike’s Ex comes to visit, but come season 4 and no, it didn’t happen!

This seems like it is legit. But the position of Rainbow Dash on that rock is really throwing me off. Unless, it is art made by Hasbro to show what to expect for an episode. I would like to know why in the world Maud Pie would be in Manehatten of all places.
