Im not sure about some of Fosgitt’s designs and stuff, but I liked how Rarity was written in this comic, a lot of the time the writers of the comics have screwed up bad with her, made her ether totally guy obsessed or turned up her eccentricities up to 11 while ignoring her many positive traits or the fact that despite how over the top she can be, she’s actually quite mature and one of the most level headed of the main 6.
 
Here she was eccentric as she must be since that’s where a lot of her humor comes from, but she was also compassionate, empathetic, generous, and brave. I mean she’s getting into a sport into a sport she knows virtually nothing about here against freaking Yaks just so the griffon team have a chance to actually play. Rarity is my favorite character so her being written properly is important to me.

That guy’s name is Firegem? He reminds me of that rooster from Barnyard, remember that Nickelodeon movie? Remember when it became a show? Remember when Sheen gave Otis the cow a cameo in Planet Sheen?

The twist that was a non-twist to everybody.
