Oh. Interesting. China sure is nice.
In fact people are more accustomed to speaking in tongues
Such as GuangDong speak Cantonese
Also, I seem to express wrong
I was referring is text
Forgive my English proficiency
Mandarin is the main language in both Chinas.
Hong Kong has Cantonese, I don’t know about Macau.
Yup
In Mainland China,If there is no Mandarin,People can not communicate
But not equal to those dialects and minority languages(hokkien,Cantonese, blablabla) does not belong to Chinese language
That’s neat.
I kind of doubt that this website is really allowed in the People’s Republic. Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau must have lighter internet laws.
that’s right! my mom and sister used to take chinese language classes roughly a decade ago (my sis was inspired by mulan, naturally) and the instructors were taiwanese so they learned taiwanese mandarin written in traditional characters. if my memory serves me correctly, this is written in the traditional alphabet so this is most likely either taiwanese or from one of the special administration regions.
Not to mention as far as I know they use different letters. Traditional for ROC and PROC uses Simplified.

there are different dialects spoken there, though, and they’re mostly mutually unintelligible. there’s a striking difference in how the mandarin dialect sounds versus how hokkien or even hakka sounds. and don’t forget the formosan languages spoken by the aboriginal tribes!
Never existed “taiwanese language”
Taiwan using chinese language
’Kay. :j
Cool. Thank you!
Bottom: Why are you so kind?
It’s Chinese alright. Taiwanese is pretty similar to Chinese, just the colocation being a little different.
