More likely that a group of religious fanatics, from any region really, would try to murder her for being an abomination of their god’s will. If people that had no evidence for being witches were burned, just imagine something with real magic.

Assuming this is real life, and something like that happened, there would be an explanation, even if they can’t figure it out. It’s like how we have no idea what dark energy or dark matter is. Scientists are baffled, yet they are not frustrated, only excited.
Yeah, happy…until it hits the point of crazy frustrated obsession when they can’t for the life of them figure out how the sun moved like that in violation of all known laws of physics.
I would imagine they would be horrendously happy as well as baffled. Happy because something science cannot explain was discovered, so they can figure it out. Scientists love that, contrary to what people may think.

No, no, mind of a child. She definitely just repositioned the sun itself. And magic apparently moves faster than light. I’m going to assume it will also prevent the catastrophic effects of jerking the core of a solar system around like a rag doll.
