I’m new to Japanese, and I don’t really know about the southern American English accent.
‘Fraid not. The direct literal translation would be “Isn’t that good?”, but going off of her expression, I’m guessing it’s more along the lines of “Well, ain’t that peachy?!”
Close. Japanese negatives are a bitch. It’s more like, “Ain’t that swell?” Whatever the southern equivalent to that is.
Am I correct?
