I was just trying to point out that the changelings were murderous bastards for saying that, not just run-of-the-mill cartoon villains. it implies that they did murder those three, but it isn’t necessarily guaranteed to be the case. they could have escaped with their lives.
Devil’s advocate: If they didn’t escape with their lives, it doesn’t necessarily mean they died. It could also mean they didn’t escape at all.
Death is probably preferable, but that’s a side issue.
