Desolate beauty is a perfect way to describe it. The wind blowing, the gray/neutral coloring even on the characters themselves, and no music. Just the end.

No, that would be far, far worse than this.
 
The oceans would slowly boil away, the surface temperature would skyrocket to ‘will kill any life dead as fuck’ levels, and the atmosphere would have burned away.
 
All that would be left would be glass fields, radiation, the clearest view of the sun you’d ever get, and craters from asteroid impacts.

This wasteland…i imagine that the ultimate battle could had happened…it could had been an evil yet to be seen…it could had been the leftovers between what a war between the princess Celestia, and the big masterminds at same time could had led over to…it could had been a big war, a messed up spell, whatever it was…it wasn’t pretty.

I like to think this is the future with Nightmare Sun.

I like the theory that this is the timeline where EVERY villain won, or at least had a massive struggle for power, and completely obliterated the planet.

This is the point where the Timeline had quite enough of the mass changes that Twilight and Starlight Glimmer were causing and just went, “SCREW IT” until there was nothing left.
