If they were let go, they have being part of the stage show of the top pop star in Equestria on their resumes. They’ll find other positions.

There has been countless times where male movie stars and male Pop/Rockstars have used cosmetics such as Adam Levine, Adam Lambert and Robert Downey Jr to name a few. It says really nothing about there sexually it could be just how (These characters) want show themselves either on stage and/or in public.
(Or I don’t know Jack and I’m looking like a total dingus right now.)
