Or you know because videogame you know that thing that lets us go to outerspace with aliens and other non realistic stuff it’s still fairly intact because it makes it interesting to explore if you want extremely destroyed environment in a fallout game I recommend 3 it was the most dilapidated.

that’s why I like 3 more than vegas.

And the fact that after 207 years canned food is still good, soda is still drinkable and houses still stand (I watched the whole ‘Life After People series’; After 100 years most everything not solid concrete or stone would be collapsed overgrown rubble and after 200 years very little of anything man-made would be visible or recognizable). After 1000 years there would be almost nothing of human civilization remaining.

thats were man uses the earth materials to rebuild by using earths resources.

well from my VERY limited expirience on Fallout(new vegas and a few Fallout 3 & 4 videos)it was around the 50s when the bomb dropped so seeing how everything just kind of stopped it’s obvious that it would stay that way until sociaty rebuilt itself…which for some reason has gotten no where dispite the games taking place about 200 to 300 years after everything went belly up,bombs down.

Yep. Seems legit. Given they’re still running on 1950’s logic with their architecture, politics, design, music, and overall outlook on life, it’d make sense they’d still be using lead paint. Now combine that with THE SCIENCE OF TOMORROW and I guess you get fade-proof paint. Of course, I’ll bet you said paint chips are a base ingredient for Buffout. :3

The Fluffiest
Its always hilarious to me that despite the exceptionally high UV exposure everything got with the nukes plus the long passage of time, despite being somewhat flaked and cracked, everything’s still as vibrantly colored as the day it was painted.
