There’s nothing to say she can’t be like that otherwise! We really only got a small snippet of her personality from Episode #100, so a lot of her old fanon depictions can still work. And considering how (irrationally) exuberant she is in many background scenes throughout the series, I believe the crazy and excitable part of her nature still applies (not to mention that one of the CCG cards refers to Lyra as ‘excitable and curious’.)
 
And yeah, she’s one of my favourites too!

Lyra is so crazy! I like to think that before she spoke in episode 100, she was the most psychotic pony after Pinkamena. Lyra is one of my favorite ponies.
