Totally have to agree. Keeps the idea that he’s “different”, mainly internally and has different attributes that change his perception to the world from everyone else, but also slight enough that no one notices until something comes up, such as something about his tongue or tough hide or flexing some other physical attribute that isn’t normally in the forefront.
