Well, minus the pandemic thing, all of those could be caused by us.
And about the pandemic thing, it doesn’t seem there is much to worry about, all the viruses that have been in the news in the last decade have been grossly overstated and misjudged.
The swine flu was relatively harmless and the bird flu, while I don’t remember the details, probably was harmless as well.
There is always the possibility of nuclear war, ecological catastrophes, famine (should agriculture fail), pandemics…
And for some reason I feel Decade…
Well now you got me thinking apocalypses can’t happen to us.
asteroids will miss us, meteors/comets will burn up in the atmosphere, super volcanoes are just speculation, etc., etc.
Nope, they are basically the same thing, it just that CMEs send out more radiation then a solar flare. But even the strongest one could do something like this, you’re more likely at risk from radiation poisoning in high altitudes or in space then on Earth itself. The only major thing they can fuck up is power and electronics.
It could be a coronal mass ejection, I heard that those can do this, might should change the tag if that’s the case.

This seems like it severely messes up natural history, I mean if there was a solar flare that ever hit the earth it would wipe out all life, meaning nothing would survive.
