I don’t remember, I already changed v.a.t.s back to V. But now to open up the crafting menu for my town I use Q.
Most people blow up the car to kill the deathclaw but freezing it sounds more fun.
Yeah I noticed it was changed from V to Q that’s weird I wonder what V does now that they felt the need to change it.
Huh, according to Google the V.A.T.S key changed from V to Q. I guess when I get home I’ll have to check my key binding lists and see if I shuffle my different keys so V.A.T.S key goes back to V.
Okay so maybe I remembered the stats wrong, but after dumping all of my ammo from my mini gun on some raiders just as a death claw shows up and chews through the raiders, I was able to finish the death claw off with the cryolator…
I did waste most of my ammo trying to use my mini gun as a sniper rifle from the roof top in Concord tho, it was still fun XD
Huh, the wikia page is still missing the stats on the cryolator, I got the 200 from the fact that it comes with 200 cells for its starting ammo.
I’ve already left for work, but if I remember correctly it has a base damage of 20, while most other guns start at like 8 or something.
JESUS! XD
I am now a level 2 character with a weapon that does like 200 damage. :B
Also I forgot how much fun the player.additem command is, now all of my weapons are upgraded as best my level allows for, now off to Concord!
Hmm well let me know if it works I might give that a try.
I recall it being a bug present in Fallout 3/New Vegas, basically when you tell them “find me some loot” they totally ignore the locked container that is inside, and focus primarily on the item itself and bring it to you.
How’s he supposed to get it if it’s locked is there some kind of glitch or is your lockpick skill just high enough to open it?
Interesting, something tells me that I may end up starting over a few times with different character builds just to catch everything that’s new/different.
But the first thing that I will do once I’m home tonight, is take my new “dogmeat” companion, head back to vault 111, and get him to snatch that special weapon out of that locked container! :P!
10 is the maximum for your special points but you require a certain level to get certain perks and ranks of perks.
I have to find out with the new stat and perk based level up system, and considering that you are supposed to be able to level up over 200 or some ridiculous amount of leveling up, is 10 the natural limit for leveling up stats? Or can you bring your INT over 10? I’m going to try experimenting with this!
I’m just going to player.setav everything to 10. :P
I may have to modify my STR/carry weight then. :d!
Fallout 4 is a klepto’s worst nightmare since all junk is now usable and or sellable you will most likely be carrying more than you normally would in a fallout game.
I’ve been watching Galm play it and he just constantly keeps picking shit up and going overcummberd and I’m just looking at my screen like Galm what are you doing? Galm stahp!
Heh, I’m pretty fast at checking containers, even if they are empty, what annoyed me was the possibility of missing a container, even though I use the cheat console to add items, I still get klepto over looting stuff.
I kinda hated it when I would accidentally open a empty container and I had to back out of it got annoying after awhile.
Huh, the old style of looting never bothered me, it was a part of the exploration.
The skill points might bother me, I don’t know yet, leveling up is half of the fun though, exploration is the other half.
I’ve been watching galm play it (I would have the game if amazon would stop screwing me over!) but yes there is fast travelling and if you want to wait you need to sit down somewhere to do it.
The only thing I have seen that might take some time to get used to is the absence of skill points it’s more like skyrims system of leveling up and getting perks and the building settlements.
I like that they made the looting like alien isolation much faster than opening each individual container.
Yah I read the wiki earlier, this new Fallout has so many things different it will take me awhile to get used to it.
Like, does it have fast travel?
Be awhile until I get off work, I wish I had more free time to play through it. XD
You just need fusion cores which you can buy from vendors then your all set and if your suit runs out of juice it will be on your map so you don’t lose it.
I wonder what sort of requirements will need to be met before you just equip it and start trying punch super mutants or wrestle with deathclaws?
Because in Fallout 1 and 2 you just found a place to loot the power armor and just equip it…
But Fallout 3 and New Vegas made you gain the power armor perk before you could wear it…
New Vegas was slightly less annoying with getting that perk.
